A dash camera, fitted in front of the rear-view mirror, can be used to monitor the behaviour of the driver and how they are driving. The dash camera has numerous sensors, such as a video recorder, speedometer, accelerometer, microphone, altimeter, etc. Many input data points (video, speed, audio, altitude) can be collected and then fed into a machine learning model to give out a score depending on how well or safe the driver is driving. This score can increase every time the driver follows the rules, and the score can decrease when the driver doesn’t follow rules. The driver passing a certain score can win prizes. The dash cam can be connected to the mobile app via Bluetooth. The app will show all the details of dash cam, score and game. The mobile can be connected to the internet to communicate with the servers for central management by the Government.
